The car made its debut in april 1964 and sold over 22,000 cars on the first day, later achieving over one million cars sold in 1966. Since its beginning in 1952, the members of the ccca have been dedicated to the collection, preservation, and enjoyment of the world's finest cars. Upcoming tours our members meet at places around the usa to tour with our vintage cars and visit unique destinations like private car collections, restoration facilities, landmarks, etc. The common theme is of an older car of sufficient historical interest to be collectible and worth preserving or restoring rather than scrapping.
